Senior Adabas & Natural Consultant

We are currently seeking a Senior Adabas & Natural consultant that have strong product skills and extensive experience in one or more specific domain areas.

They may work independently or within a wider team to deliver or be responsible for leading projects /engagements.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience working with Software AG Adabas & Natural products in a consulting and/or technical or technical lead role.
• Eligible and prepared to go through UK security clearance if required.
• Good experience with Mainframe and/or Linux transactions processing (Adabas and Natural).
• Exposure to Network topologies (Load Balancers, Firewalls and Proxy Servers).
• Knowledge of Application Integration (EntireX/web Methods IS/NATRPC).
• Knowledge of Service enablement (web services).
• A wider appreciation of the importance of quality.
• Excellent communication skills, dealing with frequent client interaction and be able to present the business value of the Adabas & Natural product suite, platform rehosting and application modernization and technical roadmaps for implementation.
• Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated ability to work within teams to deliver solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt approaches /skill set to meet the needs of changing technologies.

Nice to Haves: * Experience with Application Modernization (ApplinX, CONNX/Adabas SQL Gateway or Natural for Ajax). * Certifications, Badges, or trainings certificates in the Adabas & Natural product suite. * Ability to deliver training to internal and external audiences. * Experience with Data-Modeling (SQL). * DevOps experience (Continuous Testing & Continuous Deployment). * Experience of Architecture Frameworks & Development Methodologies such as TOGAF, Prince2 & Agile, Scrum Development.
