Job Title: .NET Solution Architect

Location: Hybrid / 2 days a week in East Midlands

Up to £105,000 + bonus + benefits

I’m recruiting for a cutting-edge technology company at the forefront of innovation in the Financial Services sector, who is seeking a hands-on .NET Architect to join their talented team in the East Midlands. If you are passionate about architecting scalable and resilient solutions using .NET technologies, microservices, DDD, and cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS, then please read on.

Responsibilities:

Architectural Leadership:

• Lead the design and implementation of robust, scalable, and maintainable .NET solutions.
• Provide hands-on expertise in microservices architecture, DDD, and Clean Architecture principles.

Technology Stack:

• Utilize your in-depth knowledge of C# and .NET Core to architect and develop cutting-edge applications.
• Design and implement solutions using microservices patterns and best practices.

Distributed Systems:

• Architect and implement distributed systems to ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and optimal performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and scale distributed components.

Cloud Platforms:

• Apply your expertise in Azure and AWS to design and deploy cloud-native solutions.
• Leverage cloud services for scalability, reliability, and performance optimization.

Agile Development:

• Work in an Agile environment, collaborating with development teams to deliver high-quality software within specified timelines.
• Advocate for and implement Agile and DevOps best practices.

Documentation and Best Practices:

• Document architectural decisions, guidelines, and best practices for development teams.
• Mentor and guide development teams on adhering to architectural standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a hands-on .NET Architect with expertise in microservices, DDD, Clean Architecture, and C#.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems and the ability to design and implement scalable solutions.
• Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure and AWS.
• Agile mindset with a track record of successful Agile project deliveries.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
